Facilities include a 36m x 22m air conditioned floodlit indoor sand school with a rubber base and a surface made of Geotextile, 20m x 60m dressage riding ring, a sports café and paddocks. 16 Lipizzaners including 1 stud stallion for breeding, 5 Kladrubers, 2 Haflingers and 2 mini Shetland ponies. Besides riding you can also learn to drive carriages.
Kladruber: The Kladrubers were the carriage horses of the royal and imperial monarchies for 400 years. They are baroque horses of a large stature with a pronounced concave head profile. The breed was established in 1572 in the court stud Kladgrub. The Kladruber is a strong, generous horse with a calm, but if necessary also fiery temperament.
Lipizzaner: The "emperor's white horses" of the Hapsburg monarchy originate from the oldest cultured European breed of horses in Lipica, which is now in Slovenia. The Lipizzaner breed was created in 1580 through cross breeding with Spanish, Neapolitan and Arab horses on the initiative of Archduke Karl II.
Kasimir's Kid's World is 120 m2 with its own terrace, with full time creative professional childcare from 9 am to 9 pm daily. Weekly barbeque evening, daily activity programmes for children aged 3-8 years and youths aged from 8-12 years. Soft play area for youngsters and Safari lodge with DVD and music centre for older kids, children's creative workshop. Kids have their own cool South East Asian style restaurant where they can have lunch, tea or dinner (supervised) and help themselves all day long from the soft drinks fountain. Weekly pizza party, youth bar, youth disco 'The Hole' 3 times a week. Kasimir's Water World is a huge indoor area with pools for babies and pools for older children with large Fun Slide and climbing wall. Fun Riding Course for kids and teens with Lipizzaners and Kladrubers. Beginners course: Monday theory units from 8 am to 12 pm, Tuesday to Friday 1 lunging lesson per day (20 mins each), plus general horse care, Wednesday afternoon saddle care, Thursday completion of the theory with "Rudi's Giant Ice Cream Coupe" from 5 to 7 pm. Friday excursion with a horse and carriage for a sausage barbeque from 11 am to 3 pm. Price per child: £116.
Advanced riding course for kids and teens: £138. This includes a group lesson of 50 minutes on Monday to Wednesday, a morning hack on Thursday and Friday. Afternoons are spent with a variety of horse related activities such as horse care, cooking tasty things for horses, play hunting, riding to music (Quadrille), ice cream picnics in the horse and carriage. Min. 3 kids from age 7 for both courses.
Fun Golf for kids: David Leadbetter Junior Start Up: 3 day golf course (Thurs to Sat) for beginners and advanced children and youngsters, with 2 hours training daily. For Adults: The Avance Hotel has its own pools, fitness, health and beauty areas offering an extensive array of therapies and treatments in the new architect designed Beauty Pavilion. You may also use the Merkur Centre for preventative medicine and physiotherapy. You may choose to spend time with your kids (you can even eat in the kids' restaurant) or escape to your own pool with its extensive choice of saunas and steamrooms. There is an all day free poolside health and juice bar here where you can have an early morning 'dressing gown' breakfast. All meals and drinks (including wine and beer) are included, so you can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast buffet, 3 course lunch buffet with accompanying drinks, snack buffet by the pool, coffee and cake & snacks in the afternoon, dinner with beer or wine and soft drinks included. Golf: 9 and 18 hole courses and home to the famous David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Open year round. Free green fee (see below for details). On the driving range approx 200 golfers can practise open air or 20 golfers in huts (for inclement weather). For those wishing to practise pitches, putts or bunker strokes, there is a range of approx 180 × 70 metres with 2 greens.
Racquet centre offers 1 squash box, 2 indoor courts with granular surface, 2 outdoor sand courts, tennis court rental is free of charge. The 'Better Tennis Academy' offers expert tuition for all standards with a Children/Youth tennis programme and an Adult programme.
Nordic Walking and Running: In the resort itself there is a 1.5 km moon & sun running track. The region has running routes of 138 km, as well as hiking or signposted walking trails with a total length of 280 km.
All round reconditioning: This is a complete renovation and renewal which includes a daily activity programme with changing sports highlights such as: nordic walking and daily tours, daily aqua-aerobics, UKK walking test with fitness check, trial golf lesson, a guided cycling tour.
