- Explore the 1,000 acre Estate on horse back. As one of Europe’s finest equestrian playgrounds, the Estate comprises 21 miles of meandering bridleway for riding enthusiasts of all levels. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced rider looking for the thrill of fast-paced exhilarating cross-country rides, Castle Leslie Estate is the place for you. With over 100 jumps for more experienced riders, first timers can try the virtual horse before tackling the real thing.
- Partake in some of the best pike fishing in Europe on the picturesque lake.
- Relax in the organic Victorian Treatment Rooms complete with Victorian steam boxes and outdoor hot tub.
- Take in a private movie screening at our cinema in the Castle.
- Breathe in the fresh country air and take in the stunning scenery as you stroll around in the woods or by the lakes. There are a whole host of exceptional walks, from short jaunts to long leisurely strolls, on the Estate, in the village of Glaslough and in the local area.
- Try one of the Castle's Cookery Classes in their recently restored Victorian kitchens.The cookery courses include a diverse and exciting range of evening demonstrations, one-day and two-day cookery courses for up to twelve people, such as 'Men Only', 'Guilt-free Cooking' and 'Desserts for Chocolate Lovers'. Whichever you choose, the Cookery School provides a relaxing distraction from modern-day stress, introducing you to new skills, new people, new tastes and new unforgettable experiences.
- An Equine Playground and working farm, Castle Leslie Estate is not a suitable environment for bicycles. However the Ulster Canal Cycle Trail passes through Glaslough village and guests are welcome to follow the route and take in the scenery in the surrounding area. Please ask at reception for more information.
It is highly recommended to book treatments and equestrian bookings in advance of arrival in order to avoid disappointment
Prices are based on 2 people sharing a room in the Lodge on a Bed and Breakfast basis:
3 nights B&B with 3 days riding of 3 hours per day (can be tailored for all ablities and in all diciplines) from £525 (not including flights or insurance).
Singles: 3 nights staying in the castle £829 or £704 staying in the Lodge. Riding as above tailored to your requirements in any discipline.

Getting there:
Located in Co. Monaghan, Ireland, the Estate is only 90 minutes from Dublin and 60 minutes from Belfast.
Many airlines fly direct into either airport from the UK including Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Aer Arann into Dublin and Jet2 and Easyjet into Belfast. Our Channel Island customers have a direct Jersey to Belfast link via Jet2.

Environmental issues
You can calculate the CO2 emission of your journey to Ireland at Climate Care and compensate for your 'environmental footprint'. If you let us know how much it is we will be happy to pay this on your behalf.
In the office, we use paper from sustainably managed forests and recycled material where possible.
