The Riding

The rides out into the snow are on forward going Haflingers. In Winter, several daily rides of 1 to 2 hours are possible and can be arranged to fit around your skiing programme. One of the most beautiful places to ride in the Tyrol.

Riding lessons of the highest quality are offered throughout the year. The family breed their own Arab and warmblood horses on-site and host an annual riding competition. Lunge lessons for beginners. Ponies for young children. Facilities include light indoor riding school, outdoor jumping and dressage paddock.

Two experienced trainers up to level S, one for dressage and one for jumping: Angela Hergeth, (who trained in Germany and already participated in world cup dressage competitions) is able to teach up to level Grand Prix (including flying changes, piaffe, passage, etc). Christoph Nothegger has his focus on jumping: as well as Mrs. Hergeth, he regularly participates in class level S - up to Grand Prix. He also has substantial experience training young horses. For those that do not come with their own horses, training is possible up to level L both in dressage and jumping. This involves jumps up to 1.20m and basic dressage skills.
